i don’t have a sway in my neck,
which isn’t the best thing.
this partly explains why i’m so often sore in my upper back and neck.
special exercises and prayer to start the reverse.

i’m overly aware of my spine throughout the day now, which is slightly creepy…

heart of iron

the other night i tried out a new technique painting tissue paper.

it’s similar to watercolor.. you mist your paper, water down your acrylic and let the paint flow. watching the different shades of liquid meld together was a complete JOY. it felt sooooo good. i kept smiling like i was in the presence of a new boyfriend or something. i was so inspired by the colors and the mood of the night, i started snapping some pictures.

when i finally captured the shot that hit me deep down, i stopped. (this photo is in my last blog entry)

later i found out there was a contest with the app i was using.

and it just so happened to be a theme that the photo could work with.

so i entered it.

i used to enter contests all the time when i was little!

usually coloring contests..

so this is new & fun & makin’ me feel like a little kid again. (in spite of the subject matter)

i read this comment on a youtube video the other night:

"well what are you waiting for then? remember this: you can act yourself in to believing, quicker than you can believe yourself into acting."

it was in response to someone who was confessing that they should be doing the Spirit music that was featured on the video.

i thought that was perfectly said.

i was looking up some natural remedies (which by the way i learned how to make GOOT, a very interesting miracle salve!) and got to blog hopping... it led me to this video on someone's blog.

some of you will feel me when i say that this gave me the cry-laugh-shouts....

years back, i remember asking Robin Pasley (co-creator/percussionist/singer) of ETWC who she listens to for inspiration..

it interested me because i was so inspired by their music...

and she mentioned this guy below.

i never followed up on him.

glad i bumped into this.
